We bring the Black Forest to your plate: colourful, wild and aromatic, the super-foods from our forests, the delicacies and delicious dishes of our region present themselves. With spicy wild herbs, spruce shoots, mushrooms, wild berries and fruits of the forest as well as local game and the best from our mountain farms, our chefs will enchant you anew every day. Enjoy the local products of the Black Forest in our restaurant at the Notschreipass. Did you know that we also offer vegan menus?
In the course of our half-board and pampering board, you will be served fresh seasonal delicacies from our Black Forest mountain world every day from early to late in our Notschrei restaurant.
For a good start to the day, you can look forward to our Vital & Regio breakfast buffet from 7:30 to 10:30 am! Between 12 noon and 5 pm, a fine selection of small Baden dishes and homemade cake selection awaits you at the Verwöhnpension. Be sure to try the traditional Black Forest cherry cake from our forest kitchen.
In the evenings, our chef Peter Bernhardt creates daily seasonal menus for you with inspiration from nature around our Waldhotel in Todtnau. You are completely free to choose your dishes: every day you can put together whatever you prefer for your 5-course menu from the buffet and our forest kitchen menu to your heart's content.

Our chef Tobias Winklemann places special emphasis on the use of regional products, such as local game or products from the surrounding mountain farmers in Todtnau. For the daily forest cuisine menu, he pays special attention to what the local forest has to offer in the different seasons and creatively incorporates these products. There is also a choice of classic Baden dishes or a fish dish that varies daily, as well as a vegetarian and vegan 5-course menu.

It is our concern that you can enjoy the wonderful nature of the mountain world of the Southern Black Forest not only during excursions but also at the table! Therefore we offer as Naturparkwirte fresh and seasonal products from the region around the hotel. For quality control, we regularly submit to voluntary controls. You should be able to enjoy nature with all your senses and taste it with a clear conscience. This philosophy is holistically underlined by our annual Nature Park Hotel sustainability certification, which commits us to a complex environmental management - out of love for nature.

n keeping with St Martin's Day, we have our St Martin's Goose Lunch and, as every year, in keeping with St Nicholas, our popular Clausi-Hock, where we would love to welcome you to, this year on Friday, 6 December 2024. The ticket for the Clausi Hock costs € 85 including drinks (excluding spirits).
We are also happy to spoil you on Christmas Eve or the Christmas holidays. The evening menus for 25.12. and 26.12. have already been created. We look forward to your reservation.

For all events, we ask you to reserve a table in advance. To secure the reservation we also require a credit card or alternatively the total amount can be transferred to us in advance.
Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before the event, after which 70% of the cancellation fee will be charged (reservations can be transferred / given away).

Our old hunter's parlour has been shining in a new light as the Hubertus Lounge since December 2018. Traditional elements from the old hunting parlour, which have existed since the hotel opened in 1900, now combine with modern Black Forest charm and invite you to enjoy a drink or two in a cosy atmosphere. The cosy tiled stove, rustic modern wooden tables, hunting utensils and smart Black Forest art make the oldest parlour in the hotel an authentic Black Forest experience to feel good in.

A warm, friendly Black Forest atmosphere awaits you in this guest room, which invites you to stay with its light spruce wood and cosy tiled stove. The room was named after the former host Max Asal, whose pictures of his homeland now decorate the walls.
Our tip from the forest kitchen: every Wednesday there is a rustic Black Forest evening. A large speciality buffet is on offer, as well as atmosphere and fun with the rustic Hohwald music.
Carefree lightness awaits you in our bright terrace restaurant with a view of the greenery. Simple modern design with paintings and modern art are among the special amenities of our terrace restaurant. In addition, when the weather is nice, 50 seats on the large forest terrace invite you to enjoy delicacies in the fresh air.
Our Notschrei restaurant recommends our rich selection of homemade cakes & cake specialities.
The Keiler Club guest room is suitable for small private gatherings and groups. A solid round oak table and a large prepared wild boar give this room a unique hunting ambience.
Our tip: After a hearty meal in our Notschrei restaurant and on request, our wine connoisseur Willy Falger will conduct a wine tasting with fine Baden wines from our house.
