Dear guests,

we are pleased to welcome you back to our hotel, wellness area and restaurant after a 6 month break!

As long as the 7-day incidence in the district of Lörrach remains below 35, the presentation of a negative test is no longer necessary for both the hotel and the restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you thus also spontaneously.


Our Adjusted Cancellation Policy

1.) when booking the normal/flexible rates for a period from 01.06.2022.

Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival: Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 14 days before arrival
Cancellation from 13 to 4 days before arrival: In case of cancellation from 13 to 4 days before arrival, 50% of the total price will be charged as cancellation fee.
Cancellation 3 days or more prior to arrival:  For cancellations 3 days or more prior to arrival, we must charge 80% cancellation fee. Please note that special cancellation conditions apply during public holidays and holiday periods - see the point "further changes".

2.) when booking the non-refundable rate incl. price advantage

 no free cancellation is possible. In case of cancellation, 90 % of the total price will be charged as cancellation fee.

3.) when booking over public holidays (incl. 1 August) from 01.10.2021 as well as during the Christmas holidays and Shrovetide

Cancellation up to 28 days before arrival: Cancellation free of charge up to 28 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation from 27 to 4 days before arrival: Cancellation 27 to 4 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total price will be charged as cancellation fee.
Cancellation 3 days or more before arrival: Cancellation 3 days or more prior to arrival will incur an 80% cancellation fee.

Further changes

a) These conditions also apply in the event of changes to the number of rooms or persons, the time of arrival or departure.

b) Group conditions from 4 rooms

All bookings of 4 rooms or more are subject to our group policy.

Cancellation up to 28 days before arrival: free cancellation possible up to 28 days before arrival.
Cancellation from 27 to 4 days before arrival: For cancellations from 27 to 4 days before arrival, 50% of the total price will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Our hygiene concept

Dear guests - Please note that there are currently the following service adjustments within the framework of our hygiene concept, in order to comply with the infection protection and to guarantee you the greatest possible safety.

We for you during the Corona Pandemic

Since 27.05.2021 we are open again for you with our infection protection safety concept, which has already proven very well last year. Indoor swimming pool and sauna house are also open again! 

If you follow our latest guest reviews, you will notice that we are highly praised for having found a good line: on the one hand, your safety is protected by our consistent good hygiene concept and on the other hand, all services can be used and enjoyed to the fullest as before.

Many guests even confirm that our quality and the vacation feeling have been improved. For example, through the implemented safety measures for breakfast and dinner, for the wellness area stay, through the free e-bike / MTB rental or the expanded guest program with forest bathing, Nordic fitness, etc., we have ensured the highest safety standards and infection control and were able to keep almost all areas open.

To ensure the well-being of all our guests and our team, we have worked out all the hygiene requirements of the state government in a consistent infection control concept, so that the virus in our house is given no chance and your feel-good time with us nothing more stands in the way.

In the hotel we ask you to consider the following:

Experience our warm hospitality and homely atmosphere as usual, even though the safety distance of 1.50m must be observed everywhere. Please note the mouth-nose protection obligation in all public areas of the house for your own and our safety, where the 1.50m distance can not be maintained.

In general, you can only stay with us if you have not had any contact with Corona sufferers in the 14 days prior to your arrival and are not suffering from Covid19 symptoms such as dry cough or high fever. If in doubt, please get tested in advance. If your health changes during your stay, we ask that you leave and seek medical attention immediately for the protection of other guests and staff. We thank you for your understanding and honesty in providing the information.

Before arrival:

From 24.11.2021, Corona alert level II will apply in Baden-Württemberg.
Vaccinated and recovered persons have - as before - unrestricted access to the hotel. As before, only the relevant proof and a photo ID must be shown at check-in (vaccination certificate (not older than 12 months / or convalescent certificate (must not be older than 6 months). The 2G plus rule applies to the restaurant (except for boostered persons and persons who have not yet had their second vaccination 6 months ago or recovered persons who have not yet had their infection 6 months ago). Antigen tests can be done at the reception for 3€ under supervision.   

Non-immunised persons (neither vaccinated nor recovered) require a negative PCR test certificate for entry into the hotel, which must be shown. A current PCR test certificate must be presented again every three days. In addition, access to the interior of the restaurant and to all leisure facilities of the hotel (sauna, swimming pool, fitness room) is prohibited during the alert period.

Special case where no PCR test is needed:
Minors and persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons (credible proof by medical certificate) may visit accommodation establishments and also all indoor facilities (restaurant, wellness area, etc.) if they can show a negative antigen test certificate, this applies at all three levels. This antigen test can still be taken at the hotel reception and can also be renewed without any problems after 3 days.

Arrival & Departure

We also ask that you arrive between 14:30 - 18:00 and depart between 8:00 and 11:00. If you arrive or depart outside of these times we would be grateful for a short feedback or in case of an earlier check out we ask for payment of the bill the evening before.

At the reception there are glass panes for protection. In the entrance area you will find a disinfectant dispenser. Due to the distance and hygiene rules, we unfortunately have to do without a handshake as a greeting. You are welcome to make contactless payments with your EC card or transfer the bill from home. We will only bring your luggage to your room upon express request. Your room keys will be disinfected in advance. In general, a consistent tightened hygiene concept has been introduced throughout the hotel with regular cleaning and disinfection of potential transmission points, regular ventilation and regular inspections. In addition to the safety concept, our entire team has of course been trained in their specific areas of activity - in addition to general hygiene instructions.


Your room will be thoroughly disinfected with a cold fogging machine and sufficiently ventilated before arrival. Our housekeeping team has been trained in accordance with the relevant regulations. We ask you to open the windows in your room on the day of check out, for the protection of our staff.

We also rely on your assistance in the restaurant:

You will always be currently assigned your specially cleaned seat. Please always wear your mouth-nose protection on the way to your table, to the buffet and to the toilet. Please also observe the 1.50m distance rule when going to the toilets or at the breakfast buffet, for example. 
When booking incl. half board, our service team will be waiting for you at/beginning at 18:00 in the restaurant.
When booking incl. breakfast, please remember to reserve a table for dinner with us.
The breakfast offer (from 7:30 - 10:30 o'clock) we offer after the given hygiene regulations furthermore as buffet. Before you go to the buffet, we ask you to thoroughly disinfect your hands at the disinfection dispenser or wash them at the sink. Please also observe the distance rules of 1.50m and follow the marked one-way system. On the first morning we will gladly accompany you to your table, which will then always remain the same for breakfast during your stay. The restaurant rooms are regularly aired, in addition we will use air purifiers that will keep the air clean.

In the wellness area you can support us in the following way:

You will still have the possibility to reserve all offered massage & cosmetic services at the reception. The therapists will disinfect their hands immediately before your treatment and will permanently wear a mouth-nose protection. Likewise, each massage table will also be cleaned and disinfected before each guest. We kindly ask you to wear a mouth-nose protection and to disinfect your hands before entering the treatment room.

The wellness area with sauna and indoor swimming pool can be used under hygiene regulations (the steam bath must remain closed & unfortunately we are not allowed to offer sauna infusions at the moment). Due to the new relaxations it is again possible that max. 7 persons can be in the pool at the same time. We kindly ask you to keep the 1,50m distance rule in these areas as well. We ask you to make sure that you always have a towel underneath you, both when taking a sauna and in the relaxation room or after bathing in the indoor pool. Every 3 hours our team cleans and disinfects all surfaces in the public areas and also airs the rooms. Overnight the rooms are disinfected with a disinfection device.

In the outdoor area you can now enjoy more possibilities:

In the current period, we offer you an expanded WohlFit© guest program with more building blocks in nature. Relax, for example, with Nordic walking, forest bathing, Pilates, breathing & relaxation exercises, mindfulness walks under special hygiene rules (the minimum number of participants has been reduced to 3 people / registration via the reception). However, you are welcome to continue to use the services such as the rental of hiking maps / hiking equipment or the rental of e-mountain bikes & MTBs. These will also be disinfected before your use. Take advantage of the most beautiful wellness area in the world in the woods outside our front door....
