ENJOYING SOME TIME OUT: SO CLOSE TO HEAVEN
The central location of our Waldhotel between Feldberg and Belchen as well as the proximity to Freiburg (1/2 hour by car) and Basel (1 hour by car) make our house the ideal starting point to explore the beauties of the Southern Black Forest Nature Parks. The Notschrei Cross-Country Skiing Centre is only 500 metres away from the house and thus offers the perfect opportunity for an active holiday. The cross-country trail and ski slope are even right by the Waldhotel.
The popular Westweg trail from Pforzheim to Basel also passes directly by the hotel. The snow-sure location in winter, the healthy mountain air and the numerous high-altitude paths around our wellness hotel in the Black Forest leave nothing to be desired. Numerous Excursion destinations in the near and far surroundings can be easily reached from here.
You can also easily reach our Waldhotel by public transport with bus line 7215 (Todtnau-Todtnauberg-Notschrei-Schauinsland-Kirchzarten). There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel (Notschrei).
