With us, you can choose whether you would like to book your room with breakfast, with half board, with pampering board / ¾ pension or with full board. In our Black Forest wellness hotel, we recommend booking with half board or Vewöhnpension, as you will receive a very nice selection of typical Walkküchen dishes every evening, including fish, meat and vegan dishes, at a special price. There is sure to be something for everyone every day. Should this not be the case, we are also flexible enough to offer you an alternative from our a la carte menu. Perhaps you have already experienced in hotels in the Black Forest with half board that the quality of the half board is worse than in the a la carte area. You will not experience this with us, but with us, the half-board is pure Black Forest with our best love that should go through the stomach and our best local products.

From one night onwards, you will receive the Konus Card for free use of public transport in the Black Forest between Basel and Pforzheim (trains, buses / stop directly in front of the hotel with hourly connections) - ideal e.g. to take a shortcut on hikes or to go to Freiburg for shopping, museum visits or the Christmas market. Already included in the card are free or discounted entries to the Todtnau waterfall, regional outdoor pools & tennis courts etc.
- E-mountain bike/mountain bike rental
from one night onwards, you will receive free e-mountain bike / mountain bike rental for 3h (subject to availability / surcharge for the whole day e-mtb is € 25 / mtb is € 15) during your stay as well as hiking map, hiking backpack, headlamp, hiking pole rental etc. You are also welcome to reserve the E-Mountainbikes / Mountainbikes for additional days, this would then cost 55€ (E-MTB) 35€ (MTB) per day / € 30 (E-MTB) 20€ (MTB) per half day. We offer Mondraker and Ghost hardtail e-bikes and Scott hardtail mountain bikes.
- Steinwasen & Hasenhorn for the whole family
From 4 nights, families (with at least 1 child over 4 years and booking including half board in our Black Forest hotel) receive free entry to the Steinwasen Mountain Game & Adventure Park 10 minutes away and for the Hasenhorn Coaster Bahn Todtnau.

- Nordic Walking or Trail Running
- Free ski pass from 2 nights
You receive a day ski pass free of charge for the ski lifts of the Muggenbrunn ski centre from 2 nights per night! The ski area is ideal for families (conveyor belt for beginners & toboggan lift as well as ski lift with blue slopes, ski school and cosy ski hut) and for pleasure skiers (no long queuing times but 4 ski lifts with red, black and blue slopes with fantastic mountain & alpine scenery).

Buses leave daily in the direction of Freiburg and in the direction of Todtnau/Feldberg right outside the front door
- Snowshoe rental with hiking tips
You can borrow snowshoes with poles from us free of charge from one overnight stay. Great tour tips can be found here.

Once a week in winter there is a guided snowshoe hike with the head of the house.
- Toboggan hire
Save on luggage and rent a toboggan directly on site. There is a sledding slope directly opposite the hotel, fun for the whole family is guaranteed.
