Ski resorts on the doorstep

A (ski) dream in white: snow-assured slopes and ski lifts right on the hotel doorstep. This makes skiing in the Black Forest really fun. Our snowboard & ski offer is twice as much fun. Because from a booking of 2 nights, you have the ski pass for the Muggenbrunn ski area with artificial snow included in the price!

The wonderful thing is that there is something for everyone. From the magic carpet for little snow bunnies to black slopes & fun park for experienced skiers. In between blue, red and black slopes. And all this with absolute snow guarantee. In addition to 100 days of winter with lots of snow, the Notschrei lift slopes opposite the Waldhotel also have snow cannons for artificial snowmaking.

The Muggenbrunn ski school offers daily ski lessons and ski rentals.
The Notschrei lift slopes opposite the hotel also offer guaranteed snow with artificial snowmaking. There are various ski courses from the Schauinsland snow sports school directly at the Notschrei lift and on the magic carpet right by the hotel.

Your ski hotel in the Black Forest: Arrangements with "ski pass included".

For skiing enthusiasts, we offer a free ski pass for 2 nights or more for the Muggenbrunn ski centre with 4 lifts, magic carpet, floodlit fun and lots of skiing for the whole stay and the whole family when you book directly. If you would like to book a ski course at the ski lifts in Muggenbrunn, you are welcome to do so directly at the Muggenbrunn ski school. Day group courses and individual courses are offered (information about the different courses can be found on the homepage).

If you would like to take part in a Ski course (not included), you can simply come to the Wasenlift ski school container in the morning between 9-10am and register directly, as ski courses then start there from 10am. Alternatively, you can also get a ticket for a course in the evening from 16:00 to 17:30 at the Wasenlift ski school container (1, 3 or 5-day tickets can be booked, which can be redeemed individually so that you can also take a break in between).

Advance bookings are not accepted. The ski school makes a point of accommodating each child according to their ability and allowing them to learn effectively. There is also a ski hire shop on site at these times (from Sport Lehr in Todtnau) during office hours 9:00-10:00 and 16:00 -17:30.

Skiing on the Feldberg just around the corner

With 33 lifts and 55km of piste, the Feldberg lift network is the alternative to the Alps in the Black Forest. The Notschreilifte and Muggenbrunnerlifte directly in front of the hotel door are also part of it. With your Liftverbund ski pass you can explore the whole ski area and with your Konus card you can use the ski bus free of charge....
